Phillip Robertson​

​

As of April 2022, Phillip Robinson is the Executive Director of the WTJGA. Phillip began playing golf with his father as a teenager. In 2002, Phillip became a high school golf coach at Trinity Christian Academy. Since that time, he has invested countless hours promoting, instructing, and encouraging junior golfers. Phillip has been a volunteer with the WTJGA since its inception.

Phillip and his wife of 28 years, Christy have three kids, Tanner, Trace, and Tori; each of which are accomplished junior golfers.

Bailey Gilbert â€‹

​

Bailey Gilbert is the league director for the WTJGA. She has been playing golf since she was 12 years old and is currently a member of the Freed-Hardeman University Women’s Golf team. During her high school career, she was a two time district individual champion, four time team district champion, and qualified for the TSSAA state tournament all four years. Bailey was the first female golfer to have her jersey retired at Hickman County High School. While at Freed-Hardeman, Bailey has been named conference player of the week and named to the Champions of Character Team her freshman year. Bailey is passionate about junior golf and is very excited to help lead the WTJGA.

Garrett McCraw

​

Garrett began playing competitive golf in the 8th grade. The next four years, he earned a starting spot on the Trinity Christian Academy Varsity Golf Team. During this time, he helped lead his team to three consecutive district and regional titles and three state appearances (2017 - 2019). After two consecutive third place finishes at the state golf championship (2017 - 2018), Trinity Christian Academy finished as state runners-up in 2019. Garrett’s accomplishments included a third place finish his sophomore year at districts, a second place finish at regionals his junior year, and he was the individual champion his senior year at regionals, shooting a three under par round of 69. Garrett was selected to the second team All-West Tennessee Team in 2017 and he was selected to the first team All-West Tennessee Team in 2018 and 2019. He was also recognized as a 2019 Wendy’s Heisman Award winner. Garrett now continues his golf career at the collegiate level, playing for the Union University Bulldogs. He has been involved with the WTJGA since it began and has actively participated in both tournaments and league play, and will now serve as the co-director for the WTJGA’s summer tournaments.

Zakary Henson â€‹

​

Zakary Henson, the son of our founder Brian Henson, has been around golf his entire life. He has played for his school from 6th grade until his senior year of high school. During his senior year he qualified for the TSSAA State Championship. He has been involved with the WTJGA from the beginning by participating in both league and tournament play and has worked for the WTJGA since the past year. He now serves as the head IT Director of the WTJGA as well as league director for the Dyersburg and Crockett County Leagues.

Chloe Burnette 

​

Chloe Burnette is the league director for Somerville Country Club. Chloe has been around golf her whole life and has worked with the WTJGA program for two years now. During her time working with WTJGA, she has thoroughly enjoyed getting to see what a positive impact this program has on not only the junior golfers, but the volunteers and staff as well.
